If you’re an online business owner, and you’re not into videos, then you are gimping your enterprise. The fact is, videos are the future of Internet marketing, and that future has arrived. Let’s take a look at the reasons why you should seriously consider videos for your online marketing endeavors.
- People respond more to videos. They are more appreciative of what they can actually hear and see, after all, instead of what they can only read. Even during the age of the Internet, people have been responding more to TV spots compared to print ads. There were even campaigns that integrated VHS tapes with their direct mails in order to improve conversion. In a study conducted by the Wharton School of Business, it was revealed that videos increase conversion rates by as much as 72%. Information retention also experiences an increase of over 50%.

In the “real” world, businesses often operate brick and mortar stores, physical outlets that their prospects can actually visit. These prospects can review the items personally and such can aid them in deciding whether or not they’d buy them. The experience is more intimate. It is more hands-on and as a result, the conversion rate for such a system is quite high (unless of course, the store is disastrously designed and it is selling obviously sub-par products).
This is something that online businesses do not enjoy as with everything else on the World Wide Web, the experience is merely virtual.

When it comes to sales… You Are Unimportant.
We are ego-driven animals. We naturally assume that we are thinking about the right things and that we have the right answers. Our own personal perspectives are beyond recrimination or criticism. We are smart, well researched, and one hundred percent correct but really when it comes to sales, no one cares. We are unimportant. It might hurt to say it, but when it comes to sales, our opinions don’t mean anything. Our perspectives don’t sell products. We don’t matter.
Of course, we do matter on some level. We are the ones who have to find prospects and pitch them. If we do a good job, we make money. Thus, we are a critical component to every sale. However, our personal tendencies and preferences, our individual perspective, and our assessment of a product or service is unimportant. The only attitude that matters is that of the buyer.

Go to a bookstore, any bookstore. Tell me the items that catch your attention. Chances are, you’ll name the products that have the flashiest covers and the most interesting synopses indicated on their back covers. These are the books which have the most colorful and elegant designs, the most promising and exciting descriptions, and the most captivating titles on the entire shelf.
This, my friend, is the power of packaging.

One of the most common mistakes of many ebook sellers is that they approach the decision of which products to buy backwards. They see a seemingly great ebook, purchase it, and then try to find a way to successfully market it. Instead, they should start with an understanding of which specific niche markets they plan to target and then find the right PLR ebook to meet that need. If you start with the product first, you risk being seduced by something that seems appealing to you but that might not have a solid following in the marketplace.
If you don’t know the niche first, you risk investing in PLR products that don’t serve a burning need within the interested population or you may end up spending on an ebook that will have to compete with a superior product. Never buy that seemingly perfect title unless you already know that you can make it into a winner. Start with the market first, and find the product second.

Outsourcing is defined as a method of hiring an outside service provider to perform specific tasks for you. It’s like hiring an employee. The difference is, in outsourcing, you will only have to engage the worker’s services for the duration of the project instead of having to employ him for a certain amount of time. Additionally, the pay is usually pegged per project instead of the number of hours the worker actually suffers work.
Companies have been outsourcing work for decades. As early as the 1950’s, when telephones became an item that was present in most households, established enterprises have been contracting housewives who were looking for some additional income for their families to do particular work that they could carry out from the comfort of their own homes. All they needed were some documents that they’d receive from a package sent by the employer, a telephone line to facilitate communication, and a semblance of supervision. This began what we now call telecommuting.

So, why launch a membership site?
The answer to this can be summed up in just two words — passive income!
In other words, running a membership site means that your members must pay a regular subscription to retain their right to receive the information that you publish. In the most common scenario, this will be a monthly subscription which means that this money will come in from each and every individual member every month for as long as the individual decides to keep their membership alive. Now, stated in these stark, black and white terms, this message perhaps loses some of its power, so allow me to give you an example in order to demonstrate just how powerful this can be.

It’s no secret. There is gold in your mailing list waiting to be harvested. If you have built a sizable mailing list for your online business and if you have established good relationships with your subscribers, then it will be easy for you to earn from them. Whether you’re going to pre-sell an affiliate product you are promoting, directly sell a product of your own creation, or simply invite them to your website over and over again hoping to win some clicks for your Pay-Per- Click (PPC) campaign, the fuel for your success can be found in your mailing list.
This is not a new phenomenon. This is not exclusive to businesses conducted over the Internet.

Since we will be catering to an online market, we will concern ourselves with digital products. Information is the primary commodity exchanged over the Internet. Your product should be focused on information about the subject you have chosen to pursue. This is very fundamental. And your product should also be capable of digital delivery. Your audience will want to receive the information/solution you are providing really fast, and digital delivery is the only way you can answer this desire. Additionally, digital delivery will also eliminate the problems of having to ship the product to the purchasers, as well as the added burden of having to reserve storage space for undelivered items.
Determining what kind of product would best serve the needs of a particular market will require a little research, but most of it is common sense. There is no exact science behind it, save for helpful statistics that will aid you in discovering useful trends. Let’s illustrate.

Affiliate marketing is a great earning opportunity that can be conducted through the avenues of the Internet. It involves an affiliate program, where a merchant seeks the help of people to help sell his/her products. The people who will help the merchant sell are called affiliates. For every sale that the affiliate manages to refer, he/she will earn a stated commission. The more sales the affiliate manages to refer, the more profit he/she will gain.
The main affiliate is tasked to “pre-sell.” Pre-selling is very much different from actual selling. Actual selling requires you to garner leads, convert them into sales, process payments, deliver orders, entertain refund requests, provide post-sales support and technical services, and the like. As an affiliate, you are not bound to these responsibilities. Pre-selling only demands that you refer people to the affiliate merchant’s sales page. The affiliate merchant would then take care of the rest.
