thank you again. Its good to see that there are people who are interested in the BBBC. I have been a member since August 2009 and I am enjoying myself.? The membership fee is low but valuable. It reminds me of the fee people must pay to have a meet-up group where people meet and network and train one another. Its the same for the club except we meet, network and train online. thanks for your response. The BBBC is still in its infancy as a? membership. We are celebrating 3 years this year in March 2011 and we are growing by leaps and bounds. The club is needed so all we do is just tell others and than we provide the tools motivated people need to be successful.

I agree! I appreciate? this channel so much as it's virtually impossible to acquire this type of support in my day-to-day. I want to go into business myself but struggle w the issue of initial market penetration as well as funding by AA banks, passive and direct marketing, etc. Only thing is that the BBBC is fee-based.

I understand what you are saying...if people want hair or beauty supplies and if there is not a black owned store in their vicinity, or in their city...they will buy where it is available. The wealth gap is horrendous from all of the reports I have been? reading. Some say Blacks are not in bad shape economically however I do not believe all of these reports are fibbing. from what I have seen as I travel and in my? own community the blocking if you will is dwindling down. Also alot more beauticians and barbers are providing high quality hair care techniques due to the damage that people have done to their hair and now they need major repair for their hair care...so its become more comfortable for Black people to go to someone who understands Black hair.

I agree with you. I believe the task is showing the value of recycling black dollars. The level of the playing field has been established for anyone who wants to go in this industry. BOBSA? helps people start up their hair care/beauty supply store online and offline. So the resources are available for people to start.

well I dont want to be negative to any business owner. the fact is whether some community people like it or not those stores were the only stores in the community for years so some women had no other choice to buy. Now more people are shopping online so people have more options to buy their hair care? items. this is where the great customer service should come in no matter who the business owner is.
