correct, religion is a part of who a true religious person is, but not a person who has no religion. if a person has no religion, how can religion be a part of him/her? i know it's unimaginable to u religious people but there are those who have no religion in them. & people who have no religion they feel no need for having a religion? or a god either. religion is an acquired need; u either acquired the religious need during your childhood or u didn't. if u did u need to have god. if not, no need.

Besides, I don't need to take the time to educate myself about this group, since I was raised Catholic and do practice it today alongside Hare Krishna. I know what goes into Catholic practice. My mom is very devout and prays the Rosary daily. She's practically on a first-name basis with Saint Jude and Saint Anthony. I'm sorry if you don't like how I'm putting all this to the Protestants, but I know I'm not misrepresenting my faith or my? Church.

Compared to the big things - God the father, Jesus the son, and so on, it is little stuff, really. Note that I didn't say it wasn't important, but it isn't big enough of a distinction in Catholic practice to say "We aren't Christian." Sure, we wear scapulars and pray on beads. Protestants don't. Still Christians. Re: Worshipping Mary or the Pope - Note also that I called the idea "nonsense." But the lady that inspired this video stated this as fact.?

Little minutia? Since when are the Rosary and scapulas little things in the Catholic faith? They aren't. The Creed is short and to the point for a reason. If? we had a faith statement that covered everything we believed, we'd be stating our Creed until the end of the time. And since when do Catholics worship Mary or the Pope? We don't. We honor them. I just don't understand the need to point fingers and try and declare who is and who isn't. When I was raised Catholic,? it never occurred to me that someone who didn't go to my church might not be a Christian. If you go, you are, period. I was shocked when attacks started getting leveled at me. Love is good. :-)

You are so right. I have caught myself focusing on attacking what I don't like in people when I should be focusing on God. When we stand before him, he won't ask: "How many points did you score for the good side? by berating and nagging gays and atheists?" He'll probably ask: "Why did you waste your time attacking people in my name when i told you to love and bring people to me?" By the way, I was not aware that you were a Christian. I tried to explain that to someone on youtube who also did not believe catholics are christians in this exact manner, and he banned me as well from his channel. Overall, If you believe in Jesus? as the person who saved us with his mercy then you are CHRISTIAN! Also true christians should not attack others, but spread truth in a loving manner :D
